The Importance of Removing Baseboard After a Flood

The Importance of Removing Baseboard After a Flood

After a flood or water loss occurs, SERVPRO always removes baseboard in affected areas. This is an important step, as it allows the air to circulate inside of the wall.

Proper air circulation is important for the mitigation process in order to return affected materials back to their original dry standard.

Failure to remove baseboard can result in moisture being trapped behind the drywall permanently, leading to mold growth in your home or business.

When a loss occurs, always call your #local experts at SERVPRO of Greater St. Augustine / St. Augustine Beach
