SERVPRO of Greater St. Augustine "Adopts A Family" this holiday season

There is no better holiday tradition than spreading holiday cheer and helping out those who are less fortunate. 2020 has been a challenging year for most, with the pandemic, and it leading to unprecedented job loss, and a overall disruption of daily life, spreading holiday cheer seems even more needed this year.
This holiday season, we at SERVPRO of Greater St. Augustine/ St. Augustine beach wanted to give back to our local community. We reached out to Betty Griffin Center, a local women's domestic violence and sexual assult shelter to see how we could give back. We took part in their "Adopt-A-Family" program. We were given a holiday "wish list" that included the age, gender, sizes, hobbies and 3 gift requests for each family member.
We "adopted" a family of 6 and had so much fun shopping for the items on the wish list, it definitely got us in the holiday spirt!
If you would like to donate, Betty Griffin Center offers a variety of donation opportunities, for more information check out their website and Wish List or their Thrift Shoppes and see how you can help them reach more people in our community.
Betty Griffin Center's mission is to offer protection and quality services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assult and their families in St. Johns County. They operate a shelter that offers assistance, counseling and transitional support to them women and their families.
